All night long...

A Passover project for JCCenters.org By Marcus Freed

Welcome to 'All Night Long'! The evening of Seder, or Leyl HaSeder, is all about creativity. Marcus Freed proposes guided activities and complementary texts to enrich the Pesach Seder or the preparations for it. "The more one elaborates on the story of the Pesach, the more they are to be praised," from Maggid section of the Hagaddah.

A Tale of Two Cities: Jerusalem and Tel Aviv – two stops on a Jewish Journey.

By Muki Jankelowitz for JCCenters.org
The rivalry between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv cuts to the essence of Israeli society. Jerusalem in the mountains is our “eternal city”, the site of great Holiness and generations of longing. Tel Aviv on the other hand is a cosmopolitan Mediterranean City. What is the impact of these two specific cities on Jewish life historically and especially today? What do these cities stand for? How are these cities and all that they stand for still relevant to Jews around the world today?

A Jewish Cooking Course

This project concerns a course in Jewish cooking for all ages: children, teen-agers and adults. This culinary course also can be a “pleasant excuse” for reflection and learning about Jewish contents while we cook, eat and enjoy ourselves.
